A Year of Full Immersion

The Falls Church Fellows program is a Christian leadership formation program for college graduates based in The Falls Church Anglican, 8 miles outside of Washington, D.C. Our mission is to equip Fellows to live seamless lives of faith in vocation, community, discipleship and service.

THE CHURCH

The Falls Church Anglican is an evangelical congregation with a history that can be traced back to before the founding of the United States. We are a church that hungers for the presence and glory of God in our midst, that exalts the name of Jesus, and that is saturated in Holy Scripture. We are a church longing to see God’s Kingdom come in our lives, community and world.

THE EXPERIENCE

Fellows work at internships in their area of professional interest, attend seminary and weekly seminars, experience community at weekly Roundtables and in Host Family Placements, and become discipled through mentoring, engaging in the spiritual disciplines, and discipling youth in our youth ministry, along with an expansive reading list and retreats sprinkled throughout the year.

THE LOCATION

The Falls Church Anglican is located 8 miles outside of our nation’s Capital in Washington, D.C. The Fellows live, worship and work in the suburbs of Northern Virginia or on or near Capitol Hill. This is an exciting place to live, bustling with the energy of government, media and business. Ready access to the metro, the Smithsonian museum complex, the Kennedy Center, a myriad of other cultural venues, and a wide array of international cultures and cuisines adds depth and nuance to life experiences.

The FCF Program gave me the space to pursue deep personal and spiritual growth while being surrounded by a community that both challenges and encourages. It gave me the teachings and the tools to explore my vocation while practicing Christlikeness in the workplace. Through fellows I learned the value of community, the strength of the local church, and the beauty that can result in our merging our calling to work with our calling to follow the Lord. – Marie Price, Class of ’21

Become a Falls Church Fellow

Putting a class of fellows together is an art more than a science. We want a group that will work and learn well together. Learning from and sharing with one another is a key component of community in the Falls Church Fellows Program. We like to see candidates from a wide range of universities and personal backgrounds.

Meet The Fellows

As the founding Fellows program, we have 27 years of rich history in filling classes with young adults eager to enter into Christian community where faith is applied in vocation, discipleship, academics, fellowship, and family. Above all, we desire to love and exalt Jesus Christ with both heart and mind.

Donations to the program are always greatly appreciated.
