Welcome a Fellow into Your Family

Experiencing life with a family different from their own is a crucial part of the Fellows experience, and we are currently looking for more families who would be willing to participate.

Host families have a unique opportunity to show hospitality to a young person committed to starting well, and Fellows and host families often remain friends for life! Fellows live with their host families from September through May and become active participants in family life.

To participate, host families must live within a reasonable distance from the Falls Church Anglican and be able to provide a private bedroom, several meals each week, and a place to park for the duration of the program. This is a completely voluntary program and host families are not compensated. Fellows are expected to help out with household chores, but keep in mind that they’re busy, so they won’t be able to provide consistent childcare.

Provide a Work Placement For a Falls Church Fellow

Glorifying God through work is a significant part of the Fellows experience, and we’re always on the lookout for great employers who can provide internships that match our Fellows’ career goals!

When you bring on a Fellow onto your team, you’re gaining a high-integrity recent college grad who is committed their work as a form of worship and as a way to serve others.

Fellows work with their employer from mid-September to mid-May, 24 hours a week on Tues-Weds-Thurs. We ask that employers compensate the Fellows for their work; $15/hour is a suggested target.

We also ask that employers help build up the Fellows by formally evaluating their work and attitude at least twice during the year.

All employer and industries are welcome as our Fellows come from a wide variety of backgrounds and college majors.

Generous donors enable the Falls Church Fellows to offer a robust program while keeping costs down for participants, keeping it accessible to young men and women from all backgrounds.

We are extremely grateful to all the volunteers, host families, and the Falls Church Anglican for their contribution of time and facilities, but creating an enriching, multi-faceted program with retreats, study materials, and support staff still requires funding.

When you donate, you become an essential part of allowing the Fellows program to offer more enriching experiences to our Fellows and to expand our recruiting efforts to find the recent graduates who will benefit most.

All donations are collected through TFCA and are tax-deductible.

Thank you for your support!
