Eva Humphries

Eva hails from a small town in Western North Carolina located right at the foothills of the mountains in Rutherford County. She graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in Human and Organizational Leadership Development and Religious Studies. In her free time, she enjoy traveling, hiking, baking, trying new foods, drinking coffee, watching documentaries, learning a new skill, and spending time with family and friends. She also loves using her time to explore different religions and worldviews because she believes this knowledge allows her to share the gospel more effectively. She has written a few articles on different topics in this realm and enjoys having conversations surrounding what she has learned and what others know/have experienced in engaging with various religions.

Throughout college, she spent time working for a few different non-profit organizations. These include the Shelton Leadership Center at NC State University, All Things All People, and The Robert and Janice McNair Educational Foundation. With the Shelton Leadership Center, she worked to facilitate a summer leadership development camp for high school students.

She did religious studies research for All Things All People and engaged in writing a few articles for their website. The Robert and Janice McNair Educational Foundation serves high school students by way of college and career readiness. For this internship, she enjoyed reaching out to local businesses and organizations to create partnerships for students to learn and gain experience in local job interests. For her internship at Fellows, Eva will be working with Advancing American Freedom with the hopes of learning more about politics and specifically exploring the question of how Christians can live out their faith in politics.

Eva loves meeting new people and is looking forward to exploring new places! She is also excited about the opportunity to work with the youth at TFCA! Eva is a world changer with a big heart!
